Kyle Korver Shoots for a Sale of His $4M Modern Home in Santa Barbara

Posted by: | Posted on: November 3, 2020

Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Korver is looking to pass his Santa Barbara, CA, home to a new owner for $3,995,000. The SoCal native purchased the retreat in 2012 for $1.5 million.

The “incredibly renovated” hillside home has four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and 3,960 square feet of living space. The contemporary home features muted tones of gray and beige.

Originally built in 1978, the glass and steel structure was essentially rebuilt from the ground up. According to the listing, the home was updated and the square footage was increased. Highlights include walls of glass, multiple balconies, plus ocean, island, and city views.

The open floor plan features a high-end kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, plentiful cabinets, and a waterfall island and breakfast bar. The kitchen looks out to the dining space and family room, which includes a fireplace and media area. The family room opens to the outdoor spaces. An office offers a separate space for working or schooling from home.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is akin to a “five-star hotel suite,” the listing notes, with a balcony, sitting room with fireplace, walk-in closet, and luxury bath with separate tub and shower, a chandelier, and dual vanities.

The 1.5-acre grounds include a heated dining pavilion, kitchen, and lounge with fire pit.

Laundry facilities as well as a two-car garage complete the offering.

If you’d like to try before you buy, there’s an option to lease the place for $14,500 a month.

The NBA All-Star got his start with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2003. The 39-year-old sharp shooter has since bounced around the league and was a key member of two Cleveland Cavaliers teams that made it to the NBA Finals. With his contract with the Bucks expiring, he’ll be an unrestricted free agent. He’s played 17 seasons and currently ranks fourth on the list of career 3-point baskets made in league history.

Josiah and Justine Hamilton with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices hold the listing.
